ينعى المنتدى العالمي للوسطية وأعضائه وشركائه، ملك النرويج هارالد الخامس .

ويتقدم بأصدق مشاعر التعزية والمواساة إلى الأسرة المالكة النرويجية، وحكومة وشعب مملكة النرويج الصديق، سائلين الله تعالى أن يلهمهم الصبر والسلوان في هذا المصاب.

لقد مثّل الملك هارالد الخامس خلال مسيرته الطويلة نموذجاً محترماً للملكية الدستورية، وأسهم بحضوره وحكمته في ترسيخ قيم الاستقرار والتعايش والحوار والسلام، وهي قيم جعلت من النرويج دولة تحظى بمكانة وتقدير كبيرين على الساحة الدولية.

ونستذكر في هذه المناسبة العلاقات التاريخية المتميزة بين المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ومملكة النرويج، وما اتسمت به العلاقة بين جلالة الملك عبدالله الثاني ابن الحسين والملك الراحل هارالد الخامس من مودة واحترام متبادل، انعكسا إيجاباً على روابط الصداقة والتعاون بين البلدين والشعبين الصديقين.

إن رحيل الملك هارالد الخامس ليس خسارة للنرويج وأسرتها المالكة فحسب، وإنما هو رحيل لشخصية أوروبية عُرفت بالاعتدال والحكمة واحترام الإنسان، وتركت إرثاً من الخدمة العامة سيظل حاضراً في ذاكرة شعبها وأصدقائها حول العالم.

وإذ نشارك مملكة النرويج وشعبها الصديق أحزانهم، فإننا نجدد خالص تعازينا ومواساتنا للأسرة المالكة وللحكومة والشعب النرويجي، مع تمنياتنا لمملكة النرويج بدوام الأمن والاستقرار والازدهار.

Members of the Royal Family,

The Royal Court of Norway,

On behalf of the Global Forum for Moderation, its leadership, members, and partners, and on my own behalf, I extend our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathy to the Royal Family, the Government, and the people of the Kingdom of Norway on the passing of His Majesty King Harald V.

His Majesty’s passing marks the end of an exceptional era of dedicated service to Norway and its people. Throughout his long reign, King Harald embodied dignity, wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to his constitutional responsibilities and to the values of peace, dialogue, tolerance, and human dignity.

His Majesty will also be remembered internationally as a respected statesman who represented Norway with distinction and contributed, through his leadership and moral presence, to strengthening his country’s standing as a voice for peace, reconciliation, responsible governance, and international cooperation.

At the Global Forum for Moderation, we particularly honour the values of dialogue, mutual respect, coexistence, and moderation. These are values that Norway has consistently promoted internationally and that remain essential at a time when our world faces growing divisions, conflicts, and challenges to peace and human solidarity.

We also recall with great appreciation the longstanding friendship between the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the Kingdom of Norway, and the warm relations and mutual respect between the Royal Families of our two countries. These bonds have contributed to a relationship founded upon friendship, cooperation, and a shared commitment to peace and human dignity.

In this moment of national mourning, we stand in sincere solidarity with the Royal Family and the people of Norway.

May the memory and distinguished legacy of His Majesty King Harald continue to inspire future generations, and may the Kingdom of Norway continue it

s journey of peace, stability, prosperity, and service to humanity.
